How billing works
One housing company means one housing company with all its buildings and apartments. Pricing follows your subscribed company allowance. For rental portfolios, the sites to be counted are agreed before ordering.
Additions are charged for the remaining term. Reductions take effect at renewal. Archiving does not change the subscription.
Extensive data cleanup, integrations and custom work are quoted separately before work begins.

Is the trial period free?
Yes. You can try Alarmi free for 14 days without a credit card. During the trial, you have access to all Pro features.
How quickly can I get started?
Registration and basic setup takes less than 5 minutes. The guided setup wizard walks you through the entire process. On Pro and Salkku you can also import apartments and residents from a file.
Can I upgrade my plan later?
Yes, you can upgrade from Starter to Pro at any time. You get a new 12-month term and a credit for the unused part of your Starter term.
What happens to our data after the trial?
Nothing is deleted. The account switches to read-only until a subscription is activated, and you can export your data (CSV/PDF) at any time.
What if the service is ever discontinued?
You can export your data at any time, and the reports you print or save as PDF are dated documents that remain valid in your own records. Annual billing caps your risk at one year's fee, and if JL Screen Oy terminates the agreement for reasons other than the customer's breach, the unused period is refunded.
How do residents confirm a test?
Residents receive an email with a link to confirm the test. They click the link, select the tested alarms, and confirm. No passwords, no apps needed.
Is my data safe?
Yes. The server and database are in the EU, connections are encrypted (HTTPS) and processing follows the GDPR. You sign in with a one-time email code, so no passwords are stored. See the privacy policy for details.
Where is my data stored and is it backed up?
The server and database are in a Finnish provider's data centre in the EU, and the data is backed up daily. Email is sent through Resend, which stores sent-message data in the US. The privacy policy explains the transfer terms and lists the other processors.
